I think Monday gets a bad wrap. Don’t get me wrong, I complain as much as the next guy about having to go back to work after a nice little weekend. But really, it’s just another day. How is Tuesday any better? In fact, if you think about it, Monday is the closest thing to Friday that we have that isn’t Friday has one work day and one day off sandwiching it. Monday is the same thing! So Monday really should catch a break. But in all reality, I hate Mondays.
I did make it to the gym and did my first round of leg days. I had planned on doing heavier weights with lighter reps, but after I was done I didn’t feel like I had pushed myself much, so Tuesday may be leg day number two depending on how I feel. I got in all of my steps, missed out on only one hour of 250+ steps, ate well and tracked it all and had a pretty good day.
The only downside was I had to stay late for a meeting but I will be taking off early Friday for my chili cooking contest, so I don’t mind too much.
Oh! I forgot to mention here… I went to see the sleep specialist on Friday and he said he doesn’t think I have even a mild case of sleep apnea and that he does not recommend I do the full sleep study and get a CPAP, so that is good. He thinks if I keep losing weight and sleep on my side (which I prefer) I should be fine. Also, when I was there, they took my blood pressure and it was the first time in my life I can remember it not being considered high. So yay!
