It can be difficult to look at things that have happened in the past and try to move on.  Especially if those things have happened recently.  It is a lot easier to wallow in defeat than it is to pick yourself up, brush yourself off and try to keep going.  That is what I want to try to do.  I know that I won’t perfect it because I will make plenty of mistakes as the remaining 44 or so weeks pass, but I am not going to let them defeat me.

Monday was a good day when it came to my workout because it was the first time I was able to do the circuit training I have so much been longing to do.  My shoulder feels better, my feet feel better and I just really wanted to push myself beyond my limits.  I think that lifting over 52,000 pounds of volume with over 230 reps is a good limit to push to!  I was able to do a very good workout and it felt great.  I know my body is going to feel it and I will just have to get used to that.

Eating wasn’t the best but it was within my limits according to MFP especially with the workout I did.  I got plenty of steps, only missing out on one 250+ step hour throughout the day.

Tomorrow may be a different story… it is never an easy thing to know what is going to happen.  If it was, I wouldn’t need this blog as I would know that I could or couldn’t do something.  But I gotta try to keep myself honest while doing this project.

  1. Falling down doesn’t matter, its how you pick yourself up again…or something…I am sure that there is a quote in there somewhere!

I have lost count of the amount of times I have fallen off plan or changed plans, or just eaten everything in sight, but we keep on going back and getting on with it and that (as you say) is the point of the blog 🙂

Its all about individual decisions. Take every one as a new start 🙂

Now, remind me that I don’t want to stop for chocolate on the way home!!
